Everyone Loves the Talking Heads, and Stop Making Sense is an incredible concert film, directed by Jonathan Demme. The onstage antics of David Byrne cannot be duplicated or forgotten, while the music in this film gets all the knees knocking. From it's opening number featuring a ghetto blaster and acoustic guitar, to the full band rocking out all the hits, no one will be still in their seat at The Crest on this night.

Stop Making Sense
There are rock movies, there are concert movies, there are documentaries, and then there's STOP MAKING SENSE. Simply put, the best concert movie ever made, STOP MAKING SENSE captures the Talking Heads at the peak of their considerable power. Shot over three nights in December 1983, the Talking Heads' nine-member (!) live powerhouse tears through their catalog of brainy, body-moving jams, coming across like a deeply neurotic riff on James Brown and the Famous Flames. Plus, you'll see David Byrne in a gigantic suit and hear some Tom Tom Club songs!

Director: Jonathan Demme. 1984. 88 minutes.
