When Mike Judge Wrote and Directed Idiocracy, He took what he observed at the present, and predicted a possible future, one where Humankind has gotten progressively less intelligent as it moved so far away from natural selection, and relied upon machines to think. The result is terrifyingly hilarious. This movie has Quotable lines forever, as it bites deep into corporate media, consumerism, and dude-speak. Luke Wilson and Maya Rudolph are perfect in the leading roles, and the scenes are constantly filled with creatively rich side characters, Notably Terry Crews as President Camacho. While incredibly silly, the movie is still deeply thought provoking, while providing a terrific example of a Science-Fiction time travel/distopian future adventure.  What better way to celebrate four more years of craziness? (Rated (R), 1hr, 24 min, on 35 mm Film)
